Description:
Part-time Mental Health Professional opening: LPC, LAC, LPE, LCSW or LMSW, and certified in TF-CBT, needed to provide therapy for children and families with DCFS or court involvement at Ouachita Children’s Center, but not limited to other types of services.

Candidate should have knowledge and/or experience with DCFS. MHP will provide therapy services to children that may have severe mental health issues, abuse and neglect issues or youth with serious emotional and behavior disturbance. Candidate will attend any staffing’s/meetings as needed.

Must be a good communicator, be able to handle crisis, be a self-starter and work as a team. Some after hours or possible weekends.

Mental Health Professional (MHP) needed for Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant. Must be currently licensed in the state of Arkansas as LAC, LMSW, LPC, LPE-I or LCSW.

The Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (ECMHC) will serve as a consultant to early childcare providers, educators, and families. The ECMHC is culturally competent and an expert in the promotion of positive early childhood mental health.

The ECMHC will possess skills that include a thorough knowledge of early childhood development coupled with an understanding of family dynamics and relationship building on an individual/family, provider, and community level.

This position will represent the consultant’s home agency and Project PLAY in a positive and professional manner and adhere to all best practices, guidelines, policies and procedure.

MHP Program Coordinator | Arkadelphia, AR

Description:

Program Coordinator assists and guides team members. PC supports Director in development of projects and strategic planning. PC monitors and provides information to Directors, offers recommendations and acts as a point person in the absence of the Program Director. PC communicates plans, directives, deadlines and assignments to team members. If a conflict or issue arises, PC should work with team members or coach members to resolve issues or conflict quickly and effectively. PC oversees daily arrangements, records and scheduling for the team, such as PTO and approves timecards accordingly.

PC is responsible for employee evaluations, actions plans or issuing any performance notices. PC will provide performance information or reports to Program Director and Director may be including in performance meetings. PC completes Quality Assurance Chart Reviews, attends Quality Assurance and Leadership Meetings. . Program Coordinator will maintain a caseload but service hours will be adjusted accordingly.

Desired:
1. Terminally Licensed or within 6 months of LPC
2. Qualify as Clinical Supervisor of Non-Terminally Licensed MHP’s (must be LPC, LCSW)
3. Excel in documentation and client services; must meet all goals and objectives listed on performance indicator
4. 2 years’ experience as MHP
5. Must provide clinical supervision to MHP’s within assigned program (maximum of 10)

Outpatient MHP/Emergency Services Assessor | Hot Springs, AR

OP MHP/Emergency Services Assessor

Full-time MHP to split job duties between role as Mental Health Therapist in OP setting and Emergency Services Assessor. This employee completes single point of entry assessments and mental health evaluations, arranges or assists with inpatient placement and refers patients to the clinically appropriate service or program. Works as part of the emergency services team and responds to emergency calls during normal working hours. Coordinates discharge planning and assists with the Forensic Outpatient Restoration Program. Assists with triage and assesses new patients that access the Walk-in Clinic, as needed and as available. Responds to involuntary commitment orders, court requests for assessments and emergency room assessment in a timely manner that is responsive to the community and is a representative of OBHAW’s Mission, Vision and Values. Must be community services driven, have good customer service skills and be able to prioritize work.

Applicant must be currently licensed in Arkansas as LAC, LPC, LMSW, or LPE. Must have reliable transportation with a clean driving record. The Emergency Assessor performs clinical assessments and makes level of care recommendations for services in any of the surrounding catchment areas. Mobile assessment experience preferred.
