Part-time Mental Health Professional opening: LPC, LAC, LPE, LCSW or LMSW, and certified in TF-CBT, needed to provide therapy for children and families with DCFS or court involvement at Ouachita Children’s Center, but not limited to other types of services. Candidate should have knowledge and/or experience with DCFS. MHP will provide therapy services to children that may have severe mental health issues, abuse and neglect issues or youth with serious emotional and behavior disturbance. Intensive Family Services Professional

Title:
Intensive Family Services Professional

Description:
IFS Mental Health Professional will provide therapeutic and intervention services to families referred by Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) whose children are in imminent risk of an out of home placement, but may include, under certain circumstances, families who have already experienced an out of home placement and reunification is planned. IFS MHP will provide services that are aimed at ensuring the safety of all family members while helping the family learn how to stay together successfully. Services are accessible and delivered in the family’s home or a natural environment. Services will be on average of 6 weeks for each family and caseloads will be 2-4 families per treatment team. Services will be provided to families in their homes during hours that fit into a realistic daily routine where problems most likely to occur (e.g. daytime, evenings and weekends). Counties covered will be Garland and 4 other surrounding counties. MHP will be required to attend DCFS staffing and court if needed. Some travel required. Applicant must be a licensed LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LAC or LPE . Experience with DHS, crisis intervention and parenting education preferred.

Description:
Behavioral Health Interventionist is needed for CLIMB in our Jessieville/Fountain Lake ALE, an intensive outpatient treatment program for children. Duties involve providing case management for CLIMB, including monitoring of behavioral/mental/emotional state, linking to community resources, providing support to clients to maintain/improve level of functioning, and maintaining liaison with other service providers/involved community parties.

Qualifications include certification as a mental health paraprofessional which may be obtained after employment, Bachelor’s Degree, proficiency in keyboarding and working knowledge of PC’s and related software. Must be able to function well in a team environment. This can include lifting up to 50lbs. Position requires knowledge of basic food preparation, portion control and service methods. Job duties would include but are not limited to: developing new evidence based programs/services for our Outpatient and Wellness Day Adult Program, complete chart reviews, provide clinical supervision for clinicians, serve and oversee our walk-in clinic, lead program staffing’s, complete yearly evaluations for clinical staff, offer solutions to problems, provide therapy to a small caseload and supervise clinical staff. Must be a self starter, be able to effectively communicate and address problems, understand RSPMI rules and regulations, and be a team player. Experience in management a plus but not required.
