LCSW or LPC Mental Health Professional | Walk In Clinic | Hot Springs, AR

Forensic Psychologist | Hot Springs Clinic | Hot Springs, AR

Forensic Psychologist

Description:

Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness is in need of a Forensic Psychologist to contract with OBHAW for Forensic Evaluations. The Forensic Psychologist conducts psychological evaluations for both criminal and civil court systems.

Essential Job Duties
• Provide psychological assessments and competency screenings for the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services, such as Fitness to Proceed and Criminal Responsibility examination and opinion evaluations for our catchment area that includes Montgomery, Pike, Clark, Hot Spring, and Garland. Some travel will be required.
• Options to provide other evaluations such as Parental Fitness Assessments, Child Custody/Visitation Evaluations, Abuse/Neglect Evaluations, Competency for Estate and Person, Lawn Enforcement Pre Employment Evaluation

Minimum Requirements
• Must hold a doctoral degree (E.D., Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited university program in clinical psychology
• Must be fully licensed at the independent practice level without any history of discipline or other restriction of license
• Must have post-doctoral training and experience in forensic and police and public safety psychology
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Forensic Psychology.
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of the DSM-5 and ICD-10 diagnostic categories
• Must possess oral and written communications skills to include the ability to write expert witness reports and to provide testimony in hearings and have the ability to work tactfully and cooperatively at all levels in order to provide effective consultation to supervisors, managers and employees.

LPN or MA | Hot Springs Clinic | Hot Springs, AR

LPN or MA

Description:

OBHAW is in search of a caring and compassionate LPN or MA to work at primarily at our Hot Springs facility. This position will work as part of our provider team and assist our doctors in providing mental health services. Must be willing to travel to our other locations in Malvern and Arkadelphia. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. OBHAW offers a complete benefit package including PTO.

Must be able to multi-task, proficient in data entry for electronic medical records and must possess excellent communication skills.

Must be LPN or MA as certified by the State of Arkansas. Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screen.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete the nursing assessment portion of the doctor’s note (PDA and medication mgmt.) in its entirety, including checking the PMP, completing AIMS exam, benzo agreement, etc.

• Contact pharmacies to address medication issues and/or confirm medications/dosages as needed and upon request.

• Assist with PAs for medications, Medicaid EOBs, or other insurance requirements when needed.

• Return phone messages from patients and gather pertinent information needed to address their concerns.

• Contact other providers’ offices to share or obtain information about a client’s treatment.

• Assist with completing forms, writing letters, etc., on the client’s behalf.

• Administer injections, document medication, collect lab specimen

• Complete lab slips, orders for sleep studies, neuropsych referrals,. and coordinate care/treatment with outside physician offices and be able to complete appropriate forms

• Complete electronic and faxed refill requests for medications and know OBHAW policy on bridge scripting medications

• Check medical faxes and be able to identify abnormal lab values to alert the assigned MD/APN, know when labs need to be forwarded on to Arkansas Medicaid for PA’s or Clozapine registry

Marketing Internship
Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable marketing intern. In this unpaid internship, you will support our Marketing Director to implement and deploy marketing content through our website, social media, health fairs, community events, fundraising, and direct outreach. OBHAW is a nonprofit Community Health Center that services a five county catchment area providing a wide variety of services to help those with behavioral health needs. Through this internship, you will gain hands on experience in assisting the marketing director in all area.
Duties may include:
• Brainstorming, researching, developing and participating in ideas/projects for creative marketing campaigns/fundraising events
• Assist in maintaining 3 social media sites on all platforms, familiar with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
• Booking, planning and possibly manning health and resource booths in our catchment area and/or our conference center
• Increase and promote brand awareness by aiding in the distribution of marketing material throughout the community catchment areas
• Development of spreadsheets to aid in analyzing and maintaining organization of marketing data
• Keeping inventory of marketing supplies, preparing bundles for distribution, various task directed at keeping marketing department organized and running smoothly
Essential Competencies:
o Strong technical skills
o Well organized, driven, reliable and detail oriented
o Comprehensive computer skills (Excel) a must
o Familiarity with one or more graphic design programs (InDesign,, Photoshop, etc)
o Photo/Video Skills preferred
o Experience with social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Survey Monkey, MailChimp, Constant Contact
o An understanding of social media, the value of branding, and the curiosity to learn as much as possible about the fast – changing mental health industry.
