We are currently training clinical staff in Distance Counseling.  Our Mental Health Professionals will soon be providing Tele-Health services.

Marketing Internship
Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable marketing intern. In this unpaid internship, you will support our Marketing Director to implement and deploy marketing content through our website, social media, health fairs, community events, fundraising, and direct outreach. OBHAW is a nonprofit Community Health Center that services a five county catchment area providing a wide variety of services to help those with behavioral health needs. Through this internship, you will gain hands on experience in assisting the marketing director in all area.
Duties may include:
• Brainstorming, researching, developing and participating in ideas/projects for creative marketing campaigns/fundraising events
• Assist in maintaining 3 social media sites on all platforms, familiar with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
• Booking, planning and possibly manning health and resource booths in our catchment area and/or our conference center
• Increase and promote brand awareness by aiding in the distribution of marketing material throughout the community catchment areas
• Development of spreadsheets to aid in analyzing and maintaining organization of marketing data
• Keeping inventory of marketing supplies, preparing bundles for distribution, various task directed at keeping marketing department organized and running smoothly
Essential Competencies:
o Strong technical skills
o Well organized, driven, reliable and detail oriented
o Comprehensive computer skills (Excel) a must
o Familiarity with one or more graphic design programs (InDesign,, Photoshop, etc)
o Photo/Video Skills preferred
o Experience with social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Survey Monkey, MailChimp, Constant Contact
o An understanding of social media, the value of branding, and the curiosity to learn as much as possible about the fast – changing mental health industry.

Mental Health Professional | CLIMB Program | Hot Springs, AR

Title:
Mental Health Professional

Description:

Mental Health Professional needed for Pre-K – 4th grade students in the CLIMB program. Position requires a Master’s Degree in either the Counseling or Social Work field (LAC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW) and preferred experience working with children. Experience with Play Therapy is a plus. Job entails providing individual, family, and group therapy in a child and adolescent day-treatment center.
Qualifications include proficiency in keyboarding, working knowledge of PC’s and related software, and must be able to function well in a team environment. Qualified Behavioral Health Paraprofessional

Description:

Qualified Behavioral Health Paraprofessional (QBHP) needed for Grades K- 4th in the CLIMB program. Option of Full time or Part time employment. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree and preferred experience working with adolescents. Job entails managing behaviors and assisting clients with meeting their goals in social and classroom settings. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm. Qualifications include certification as a mental health paraprofessional which may be obtained after employment, proficiency in keyboarding, and working knowledge of PC’s and related software. Must be able to function well in a team environment. We have an immediate opening for lawn maintenance at our Hot Springs location.

Duties will include but not limited to: Performing lawn maintenance, repairing equipment, and performing basic construction.

Accounts Receivable Specialist | Hot Springs Clinic | Hot Springs, AR

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description:

Accounts Receivable Specialists contribute to the functioning of the Accounts Receivable Department by performing the following duties; keying Medicaid authorizations and releasing pending events in a timely manner; post insurance, self-payments that are made on a daily basis; aggressively review & take appropriate actions on aging reports, pending reports and self-pay statements; process all refunds due back to clients or payer sources. Adhere to OBHAW policies and procedures according to established performance indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Training and/or Experience)
• High school diploma or GED
• MUST have experience in data entry, accounts receivable, collections, and Medicaid Prior Authorizations
• PC computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Excellent telephone and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional problem solving skills.
• Certified in Medical Coding is a plus
