For Mental Health Professionals we offer a variety of employment options: full-time, part-time, or independent contractor. We are currently training clinical staff in Distance Counseling.  Our Mental Health Professionals will soon be providing Tele-Health services.

(OBHAW) is seeking passionate, diverse and community oriented board members to lead and direct our organization in providing behavioral health and wellness services to Garland, Hot Springs, Clark, Montgomery, and Pike counties. We currently have four voluntary board member positions available to volunteers wanting to become involved in a rewarding mission and give back to the communities served by OBHAW.

Spanish Interpreter | Arkadelphia & Malvern Clinics | Arkadelphia & Malvern, AR

Spanish Interpreter

Description:

Spanish Interpreter needed to help with our growing Spanish speaking counseling services in Arkadelphia and Malvern.

• This is a contractor position, and interpreter would be PRN during times you are available between 8:00 and 4:00.
• The interpreter(s) will provide translation services with our admission and financial intake process.
• Interpreter provides support to new clients and families by greeting clients, establishing trust, and interpreting concerns expressed. This may include assisting with the completion of forms, etc.
• Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in both Spanish and English in both written and oral forms.
• Must have experience dealing with public.
• Previous translation experience preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
• Preferred Certified Medical Interpreter (certification).
• Ability to pass oral and written exams which measure proficiency in interpretation between English and Spanish.

Behavioral Interventionist | CLIMB Pre-K | Hot Springs, AR

Behavioral Interventionist

Description:

Pre-School Behavioral Interventionist (MHPP) needed for the CLIMB Pre-School Center. Requires Bachelor’s degree and computer skills. Job entails monitoring and teaching 3-5yo pre-school students including assisting in their emotional states and maintaining positive behaviors. Background experience and teaching knowledge in early childhood education and childcare licensing regulations are a plus for this position.
Qualifications include certification as a mental health paraprofessional which may be obtained after employment, Bachelor’s Degree, proficiency in keyboarding and working knowledge of PC’s and related software. Must be able to function well in a team environment. Applicants must meet the requirements of the State of AR for childcare workers which include a criminal background check, child maltreatment registry check, and passing drug screen.
