Marketing Internship
Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable marketing intern. In this unpaid internship, you will support our Marketing Director to implement and deploy marketing content through our website, social media, health fairs, community events, fundraising, and direct outreach. OBHAW is a nonprofit Community Health Center that services a five county catchment area providing a wide variety of services to help those with behavioral health needs. Through this internship, you will gain hands on experience in assisting the marketing director in all area.
Duties may include:
• Brainstorming, researching, developing and participating in ideas/projects for creative marketing campaigns/fundraising events
• Assist in maintaining 3 social media sites on all platforms, familiar with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
• Booking, planning and possibly manning health and resource booths in our catchment area and/or our conference center
• Increase and promote brand awareness by aiding in the distribution of marketing material throughout the community catchment areas
• Development of spreadsheets to aid in analyzing and maintaining organization of marketing data
• Keeping inventory of marketing supplies, preparing bundles for distribution, various task directed at keeping marketing department organized and running smoothly
Essential Competencies:
o Strong technical skills
o Well organized, driven, reliable and detail oriented
o Comprehensive computer skills (Excel) a must
o Familiarity with one or more graphic design programs (InDesign,, Photoshop, etc)
o Photo/Video Skills preferred
o Experience with social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Survey Monkey, MailChimp, Constant Contact
o An understanding of social media, the value of branding, and the curiosity to learn as much as possible about the fast – changing mental health industry.

Mental Health Professional | CLIMB Program | Hot Springs, AR

Description:

Mental Health Professional needed for Pre-K – 4th grade students in the CLIMB program. Position requires a Master’s Degree in either the Counseling or Social Work field (LAC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW) and preferred experience working with children. Experience with Play Therapy is a plus. Ascension Wellness Clinic is looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate medical office support staff member for our practice. Our clinic is devoted to improving the health and well-being of those we serve by providing the necessary certification needed for qualified patients to utilize medical marijuana as a treatment option. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in an emerging field of medicine. This position is part-time working 2-3 days a week.

Primary Duties:
• Greet and assist patients
• Answer clinic phone lines, schedule office appointments
• Enter demographic information
• Support patient charting utilizing Electronic Medical Record
• Collect and process payments for services
• Must be willing to travel to clinic/satellite location as needed (if necessary)
Requirements include:
• 5 years recent medical office assistant experience in a medical clinic setting (preferred)
• Superior communication skills: patient-focused, welcoming, detailed oriented, ability to remain professional, upbeat and positive in a busy clinic environment
• Clear understanding of HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality
• Excellent driving record, valid driver’s license and ability to travel between clinics (as needed)
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record
• Basic computer skills, able to type at least 50 wpm
• Ability to be flexible with scheduled work hours in order to meet clinic needs
• Ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must have consistent, punctual and reliable attendance

OBHAW is seeking part-time or contract Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner, licensed as an APRN with prescriptive authority in the state of Arkansas to provide behavioral and substance abuse health services under the supervision and direction of our Medical Director. The Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for administration of the psychiatric and substance abuse treatment programs for clients of Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness according to established performance expectations. Current need is for Tuesdays and Thursdays but our substance abuse program is new and service needs are expected to grow rapidly. 2 years’ experience and licensed as APRN required.

Description:

Qualified Behavioral Health Paraprofessional (QBHP) needed for Grades K- 4th in the CLIMB program. Fulltime and part time are both options. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree and preferred experience working with adolescents. Job entails managing behaviors and assisting clients with meeting their goals in social and classroom settings. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm. Qualifications include certification as a mental health paraprofessional which may be obtained after employment, proficiency in keyboarding, and working knowledge of PC’s and related software. Must be able to function well in a team environment. Mental Health Professional | Emergency Services | Hot Springs, AR

Mental Health Professional

Description:
Full-time MHP needed to complete single point of entry assessments and mental health evaluations and arranges or assist with inpatient placement. Completes single point of entry and mental health assessment and refers patients to the clinically appropriate service or program. Works as part of the emergency services team and respond to emergency calls during normal working hours. Coordinates discharge planning and assists with the Forensic Outpatient Restoration Program. Assists with triage and assesses new patients that access the Walk-in Clinic, as needed and as available. Responds to involuntary commitment orders, court requests for assessments and emergency room assessment in a timely manner that is responsive to the community and is a representative of OBHAW’s Mission, Vision and Values. Must be community services driven, have good customer service skills and be able to prioritize work.
Applicant must be currently licensed in Arkansas as LAC, LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LPE. Must have reliable transportation with a clean driving record. The Emergency Assessor performs clinical assessments and makes level of care recommendations for services in any of the surrounding catchment areas. Mobile assessment experience preferred.
